Description
:COT is looking to add a desktop support technician to the Field Services team in Louisville. Role will be responsible for providing 60% deskside support and 40% ticket callback (IE- hardware orders and closing out previous tickets that didn't have the proper parts to fix, etc). Expect to have 5-10 tickets per day through the Heat (soon to be ServiceNow) ticketing system. Will be joining a team of 8 other technicians to provide support to State agencies. This position will provide desktop support to various state agencies located within eight counties in and around the Louisville area. The main focus will be within Jefferson County. Travel is required and a state vehicle is available. Along with desktop duties such as working on desktops, laptops, tablets, software, copiers, printers and phones (VoIP/mobile/analog), the candidate may be required to assist with servers, routers and network switches if needed. Candidates will need the following: Excellent customer service and communication skills Computer equipment configuration, setup, and installation Experience in ticketing software (preferably ServiceNow) Ability to work under pressure Hardware and software experience
