    Description
    Annashae is looking for Psychiatrist to fill positions in a few locations in Kentucky. Currently it can be Full time, Part time, PRN, Overnight, and more. Below is the duties of the position.


    Job Description:
    The Psychiatrist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
    1. Comply with all applicable Federal Regulations, as well as Cabinet, Department and Facility
    Policies and Procedures as may apply to a Psychiatrist in the practice of psychiatry and required for
    facility licensing and regulatory compliance.
    2. Provide in-patient psychiatric treatment to residents/patients of the facilities.
    3. Make recommendations for the treatment of behavioral or psychiatric disorders.
    4. Provide assistance to the physician(s) with both routine and emergency procedures.
    5. Provide specialized services in the fields of psychopharmacology and psychiatric chemotherapy,
    as requested.
    6. Maintain current Kentucky unlimited license to practice psychiatry in the Commonwealth of
    Kentucky.
    7. Conduct admissions screenings.
    8. Ensure rounds are performed daily as directed.
    9. Ensure that transcription of daily progress notes is performed routinely.
    10. Provide written notations for Medicare and/or Medicaid as well as telephone interviews with private
    insurance companies, as needed.
    11. Document treatment provided and tests administered in appropriate formats on required forms on
    each visit to the facility.
    12. Participate in incident review meetings, clinical staff meetings, respite and annual individual
    habilitation plan team meetings and any other pertinent staff meeting as directed by the Facility
    Medical Director.
    13. Consult as necessary with other facility staff physicians, consultants, in their area of consultation
    and medical judgment required for proper patient care.
    14. Consult as necessary with resident families in regard to the medical or psychiatric care when
    necessary or requested.
    15. Report and follow-up with regard to client injuries or illness to facility nursing staff.
    16. Ensure availability to staff by telephone, voice mail, e-mail, pager (to be supplied by the facility,
    but whose safe keeping is the responsibility of the contractor), and intra-facility mail, as necessary.
    17. Ensure completion of continuing medical education as mandated by the American Medical
    Association, for the life of this contract.
    18. Participate in the quality initiatives of the facility, as needed.
    19. All travel costs (e.g., lodging, meals, transportation, etc.) shall be all inclusive in the hourly rate
    and will not be reimbursed under this contract.
    20. Provide on-call services weekdays, 52 weeks per year; weekends / holidays, and for vacation coverage, if needed.
    21. Provide other related functions as instructed by the Facility Medical Director
