    Job Description

    The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is looking for its next Housekeeping Houseperson to join its teamOur hotel is located a block from the Curran and ACT theaters, and just two blocks from Union Square and Westfield San Francisco Centre.

    The Powell Street cable car turnaround, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Moscone Convention Center are within a mile.

    What will I be doing?As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

    Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
    Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference roomsPerform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtraysGreet guests in a friendly mannerReport maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repairStock and maintain supply rooms, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as neededDeliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as neededWhat are we looking for?

    • Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, overnights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed
    • Excellent customer service and oral communication skills
