Caregiver (Non-Medical) – Flexible Schedules | Birmingham, AL.
Location: Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Pelham, Alabaster, Center Point, Irondale & surrounding areas
Pay: $14.00–$15.00+/hour (based on case type)
Schedule: Part-time & Full-time
• 1–12 hour shifts
•
About the Role
We provide one-on-one, non-medical home care services that allow seniors and adults to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. This is relationship-based care — not facility work.
Key Responsibilities
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support)
Companionship and emotional support
Meal preparation and light housekeeping related to client care
Errands and transportation (as needed)
Documentation and communication with the care team
This is a non-medical caregiving position. No clinical procedures or skilled nursing tasks are required unless separately licensed and authorized.

- We are not a hospital or nursing facility — you will work one-on-one in clients' homes.
- We are not a gig app — reliability and professionalism are essential.
- We are not a "sit and scroll" job — active engagement and attentiveness are required throughout your shift.
- We are not a medical staffing agency — this role focuses on non-medical personal care and companionship.
- We are not a short-term filler role — we are looking for caregivers who want meaningful, consistent work.

Qualifications
18+ with high school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Birmingham Metro
Valid Drivers License and Insurance
Ability to pass background screening
Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
Physically able to assist with mobility and stand/walk for extended periods
Training & Support
Ongoing skills development
- Supportive, responsive office team
