As part of the Maintenance team, the successful candidate will complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of Electric Gas, and Diesel powered vehicles, including commuters and in pit vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Gas Shop Supervisor, the Mechanic is responsible for the following:
• Complete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of the Light Vehicle Fleet.
• Maintain shop areas, tooling, and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform repairs on F-150 through F-550 pickups and other equipment as requested.
• Perform daily pre-shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) plus years of experience in maintenance of mobile, farm, trucking, military, or support equipment required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate Ford IDS and FRDS programs, Preferred.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required.
• Experience handling tires preferred.
• Ability to accomplish strenuous physical labor under all weather conditions required.
• Lift at least 50 lbs. required.
• Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in Responsibility to Stop Unsafe Work model required.
• Ability to be an initial team member in a growing, fast-paced environment and support team in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection, and production goals with a proven safety record required.
• Housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
