We're looking for an amazing Business Development Manager-Northern California.

You'll be responsible for managing the business development (sales) of a defined list of travel agency accounts and consortia within a specified territory.

The objective is to achieve sales goals for Princess Cruises in alignment with the company's business objectives and Core Values.

This role will be responsible for select accounts in Northern California. The candidate


MUST
live in the territory, preferably in Solano County, the Bay Area or very nearby areas.

Business Development (Revenue Generation)
Agency Account Management
Communication (Internal, External, and Feedback)
Marketing Development and Management
Budget Management
Professional Development
Participation at trade conferences and events – often including weekends and or evenings.
Participation in ship inspections at the San Francisco Pier – usually on weekend. These events usually start at 8 am and last until 3pm.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, history
CTC, MCC (but not required)
3 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience.
Preferred 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience in the travel industry.
Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong consultative selling skills
Strong computer and software literacy
Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize workload.
Adaptable to change.
Well-travelled
Understanding of how small businesses work
Works well in a team.
Willingness to take on ad-hoc projects.
Self-directed and ability to work independently.
Entrepreneurial spirit
Travel expectation, up to 25%

Base Salary Range:
$ 64,800.00 to $ 87,500.00.The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
