Job Description
The Director of CCME (City College for Municipal Employment) Program Development leads the design coordination and implementation of enterprise-wide workforce development initiatives that prepare current City employees for new career pathways This role is an enterprise-wide workforce development function designed to focus on program design implementation evaluation of signature CCME workforce programs to support opening doors of access to municipal jobs as well as upskilling current employees to support career progression The Director plays a pivotal role in developing high-quality engaging technical and career readiness training programs for the City of Philadelphia workforce The Director works closely with various stakeholders including operating departments HR staff Community Colleges educational institutions external vendors other partners in leadership roles Supporting collaboration across city agencies identifying critical hard-tofill positions understanding employment pathways working closely with OHR Hiring Services creating programs aligning with pathways evaluating programs leveraging resources across enterprises Identifying best practices industries informing wide-ranging innovations
