    Description

    Job Title: Wedding Services Coordinator

    As a Wedding Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing event details and all wedding services. Your role involves providing office, site tours, and on-site event coverage as required by contracted business.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Answer wedding telephone lines and direct calls efficiently
    • Maintain relationships with social and business contacts throughout the sales process and wedding planning
    • Promote positive relations with guests, employees, and other departments
    • Act as a liaison between sales and operations to ensure successful events
    • Assist in timely collection of deposits and managing all aspects of weddings and social events
    • Prepare reports, attend meetings, and coordinate event logistics
    • Provide accounting support, handle administrative tasks, and assist with special projects
    • Execute audiovisual requirements, conduct comp set shops, and create banquet menus
    • Participate in sales and operations meetings to communicate group needs

    Required Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in Wedding Planning, Catering, or Event Management
    • Positive attitude, results-oriented, and ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
    • Proficient in PC applications, reservations systems, and sales processes
    • Knowledge of legal agreements, revenue forecasting, and event contract language
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through and multitasking capabilities
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in weddings or event services
    • Strong client service skills and professional demeanor
    • Ability to analyze reports, understand sales operations, and adapt to client demands
    • Flexible schedule based on client programs and industry trends
