    Job Description

    Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Needed at a School in Arizona

    Are you an Arizona-Licensed Speech Language Pathologist looking to work in a virtual setting? We have an exciting opportunity for you. Collaborating with VocoVision, we offer a great position for a qualified Virtual SLP to join our remote team. This role involves working with a diverse student population within an Arizona school district from the comfort of your home. Details on this opening below:

    Job Description:

    • Full-Time Position (Also Open to Part-Time Candidates)
    • Monday - Friday
    • Location: Arizona
    • Caseload Details: 40 Students on Caseload, K-12, Mix of direct services and case management
    • More Details Available Upon Interview

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Conduct virtual evaluations to diagnose speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to align with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals.
    • Implement intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs to enhance communication skills for academic success and social interaction.
    • Utilize various instructional resources and techniques to improve student communication abilities, including AAC systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
    • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes in speech and language development.
    • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students needing speech-language services.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Masters or Doctorate Level Degree
      • ASHA CCC Needed In-Hand
    • Active Speech Language Pathology Licensure in Arizona
      • AZ IVP Fingerprint Card In-Hand Preferred
    • 2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings
    • 2 Years Previous Experience with Teletherapy (preferred)

    Please note that this position is a contracted role through VocoVision and ProCare Therapy. It will be a 1099 Independent Contractor Position, meaning:

    • No benefits provided
    • You must obtain your own Liability Insurance
    • You must complete our Technology Test to ensure you are technologically qualified
