    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position at a teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a valid WA or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Emergency Department setting in a 111-bed teaching hospital serving a broad patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
    • 25-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
    • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
    • Two weekends per month required
    • No on-call requirements
    • 13-week contract
    • EHR: Paragon (experience recommended)
    • Hospital services include ED, Family Medicine, Ortho/Joint Replacement, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging
    • Any scrub color is acceptable
    • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
    • Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
    • COVID vaccination card required

    Requirements

    • Active WA state or compact RN license required
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
    • RQI certifications are not accepted
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
    • Social Security number required for consideration
    • Date of birth required for consideration
    • Candidate must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
