    Summary

    The Cyber Security Engineering Specialist provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.

    They conduct research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. They ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber

    security standards and practices through formal verification methods.

    They verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks.

    They assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. They prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.

    They participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.

    They review test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements. They develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. They produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
    Job Qualifications
    Must be available to work a shift schedule.

    Must have general IT experience and experience with operating Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, other point of presences security tools, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and related security operations.

    Must have Cyber Security experience.

    Certifications Requirements:
    IAT Level II Certifications

    including one of the following:
    CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, SSCP;
    CSSP Analyst1

    one of the following Certifications:
    CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops CCNA+ Security, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, Cloud+, SCYBER


    Applicants who do not have the required certifications must obtain them within six (6) months of starting the new position.

    Position required ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI Security Clearance

    Postgre SQL, Nessus, AWS, RDS in AWS, AWS Cloud, Containerization, Kubernetes

    Six (6) years of experience with a High School Diploma.
    Four (4) years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
    Two (2) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
    Zero (0) years of experience with a Master's Degree.
    Cyber Security Engineering Specialist, Mid
    Eight (8) years of experience with a High School Diploma.
    Six (6) years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
    Four (4) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
    Two (2) years of experience with a Master's Degree.
    Cyber Security Engineering Specialist, Senior
    Ten (10) years of experience with a High School Diploma.
    Eight (8) years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
    Six (6) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
    Four (4) years of experience with a Master's Degree.
    Principal Cyber Security Engineering Specialist
    Twelve (12) years of experience with a High School Diploma.
    Ten (10) years of experience with an Associate's Degree.
    Eight (8) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
    Six (6) years of experience with a Master's Degree.
