The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with their health care needs by filling prescriptions, providing clinical services and excellent customer service while supervising Pharmacy associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Hours of operation of the pharmacy are Monday-Friday 9:00-6:30 and Saturdays 9:00-2:00. Closed major holidays.

Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide appropriate counseling on medication usage and potential side effects.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe medication therapy.

Monitor patient medication profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplications.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication histories and allergies.

Provide education to patients on proper medication administration techniques.

Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Experience:

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical management, anatomy, and physiology.

Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to provide patient-centered care.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
