- Conduct thorough research on subject devices, which may involve hardware breakdown, soldering/de-soldering of chips, installing sockets
- Reverse engineer software binaries
- Utilize open-source and internet research
- Retrieve and analyze data using Customer Enterprise Tools and Repositories
- Collaborate with Analysts, External Stakeholders, and client leadership
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Embedded Software Developer
- Experience in hardware breakdown, soldering, board analysis, or a strong willingness to learn
- Proficiency in reverse engineering software/firmware binaries using tools like Ghidra and IDA, as well as familiarity with debuggers
- Knowledge of Linux internals, embedded Linux, and/or pre-Linux Real Time Operating Systems
- Skilled in programming with C, C++, and comfortable with reading/writing assembler, specifically x86, ARM
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field from a four-year university
- Mandatory requirement to obtain and maintain an active federal security clearance, with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph
