They are currently seeking an Oil & Gas Service Desk Support Analyst with Managed Services Experience to join their team

Responsibilities:

Work directly with customers on support issues and service requests via email, phone and in-personCoordinate with team members to ensure timely resolution of incidentsEnsure customer satisfaction by maintaining service status updatesConfigure, deploy, manage, and maintain equipment and inventoryInstall and maintain hardware deploymentsInstall and maintain software deploymentsProvide desktop and infrastructure supportCoordinate with carriers, service providers and vendors to correct issuesDevelop, manage, and maintain vendor relationshipsProvide technical assistance during mergers and acquisitionsDevelop and maintain support and operational processesConfigure and maintain management and monitoring systemsExecute and support office movesSupport Oil and Gas field personnel including those on remote drilling rigs and production officesQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years in an IT Support/Analyst role for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)Proficient in Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and laterWorking knowledge of Active Directory servicesProficient scripting/development skills in PowerShell and Visual BasicExperience with monitoring and alerting system configuration and managementProficiency in administration of Office 365and Azure (other cloud hosting experience a plus but not required)Working knowledge of networking protocols and components (DHCP, DNS, etc.)

Experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare, Hyper V and VDIOil and gas industry experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high energy technical environmentHigh attention towards detailAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic and excellent organization skillsExceptional oral and written communication skillsHouston Based
