    Position Summary

    The Marketing Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all of HMI's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and external public relations activities.

    They will direct the team and efforts of the marketing, communications, and public relations staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of HMI.

    This role will lead the effort to strengthen HMI's brand awareness as a leader in the science of well-being, including rebranding, website rebuilding, affiliate marketing, social media strategy, and marketing of new products and services.

    We are seeking a candidate who can help us spark a global movement to cultivate well-being through identifying champions in the space, coalition building, and PR campaigns.

    Responsibilities

    Works with the CEO and Leadership Team in leading the marketing strategy for HMI, ensuring its accountability to all constituencies, and ensuring its effective operation.

    Leads and oversees all of the company's marketing efforts from creative to operations. This may include developing year-long strategic plans, creating and executing campaigns, managing budgets, and leading projects.

    Collaborates with the team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for the mission as well as existing and new products.

    Identifies short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget and expenditures.

    Understands key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translates results into actionable insights for the Leadership Team.

    Leads the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.

    Manages conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.

    Responsible for editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of all HMI publications

    Coordinates media interest in HMI and ensures regular contact with target media and appropriate responses to media requests.
    Partners with the Philanthropy team to market and garner contributed revenue from small and large donors.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Minimum of 5+ years experience in marketing with 2+ years of management experience in communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit or associated wellbeing sector.

    Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, social media, and public relations activities.
    Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and sales skills.
    Experience developing and managing budgets, hiring, training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel.
    Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with the media.
    Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
    Strong marketing analytical skills including benchmarking, trend analysis, and SEO.
    Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
    Strong oral and written communications skills.
    Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
    Interest in wellbeing is preferred.

    Salary range:
    $

    120,000-150,000
