    One of our clients, an established oncology office, is looking for an Infusion Nurse to join their team.
    The position is full-time with a great compensation and benefits package.

    Job Description:The Infusion Nurse will administer on an outpatient basis infusion therapies and monitor and record results for physicians. This position will also coordinate services with the lab and other entities participating in patients' care.
    Responsibilities & duties:
    • Receive assignments from physicians and schedule appointments for patients.
    • Receive patients, explain procedures, check vital signs and administer therapy, monitor reactions, and report to physicians.
    • Deal with emergencies (with outside assistance) if required.
    • Provide infusion treatments such as hydration, blood and blood components, and administering drugs and solutions.
    • Keeps records for physicians and billing purposes.

    Required Qualifications:
    • RN with state license required.
    • At least three years of clinical experience including training in infusion therapy.
    • (Preferred) Oncology experience, but will train the right person.

    Performance Skills:
    • Team player, able to work well with physicians.
    • Strong critical thinking, organized and punctual.
    • Able to work independently.
    • Organized manner to maintain schedule and generate reports in a timely fashion.
    • Reassuring manner to deal with patients of all ages.
