    Description

    JOB SUMMARY:
    Responsible for surveillance of the hospital employee health program including coordination of documentation with contracted employee health partners. Accountable for assuring quality medical care for employees. Implement employee health program goals and policies as needed. Keep accurate records on employees and coordinate appropriate steps to resolve any issues that arise.


    JOB SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCIES:

    • Strong understanding of HIPAA Privacy Standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Understand, develop, initiate, and track care coordination strategies and activities related to employee health.
    • Tracking and follow-up with associates for completion of required documentation.
    • Assist associates with obtaining employee health records as requested.
    • Develop, organize, and implement programs related to employee health.
    • Perform employee health screenings as necessary.
    • Coordinate necessary clinics for respiratory protection, vaccinations, and employee health as necessary.
    • Data entry and recordkeeping
    • Ability to assist in documentation of all associate accident reports and maintain accurate Records including OSHA recordkeeping.
    • Work in collaboration with the Infection Preventionist regarding current guidelines and recommendations for healthcare workers.
    • Provide technical and clerical support to the Director of Safety and Employee Health
    • Ensure proper employee health requirements are completed for new hires and work with the Human Resources team.
    • Prepare quarterly reports for the Infection Prevention Committee.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
