Job summary
The Surgery Coordinator reports to the Front Office and Surgery Coordinator Manager and/or Practice Administrator.
- Schedule all surgical procedures at the appropriate hospital or surgery center.
- Obtain pre-certification authorization for surgery for both primary and secondary insurance carriers.
- Ensure patient consents for surgery are signed by the patient and witnessed prior to surgery.
