Job summary
Monitor Techs observe and provide routine analysis of cardiac rhythms displayed on a telemetry monitor.Responsibilities
- Examines heartbeat patterns.
- Cleans and maintains heart monitors and other equipment.
- Records patients' vital signs to provide baseline for patient records during in-patient care.
- Interprets test results and reports any changes in heart readings or EKGs to the physician or nurse in charge of the patient.
