We are seeking an enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Service Writer. The qualified candidate will work in our Martinez branch. A clean DMV record and a valid Driver's License are required. This individual must work independently and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:
- Daily review of scheduling, proper work assignment, parts are in the box in the tech bin, and equipment needed is on hand for assigned in-shop technicians.
- Supervise assigned technicians to make sure jobs are being completed in a timely fashion.
- General administrative duties.
- Customer contact over the phone and in-person.
- Work order preparation and follow-up for in-shop and warranty customers.
- Submit and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers.
Required skills
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Reliable and committed to teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Courteous and calm in challenging situations.
