Top-flight plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks very well qualified paralegal applicant for immediate placement. The ideal candidate will have well over ten (10) years of experience working at a litigation and trial law firm. The candidate should be knowledgeable of the rules of civil procedure, have tried at least five cases assisting the attorney trial team including preparation of exhibits, trial notebooks, last minute witness preparation, be capable of client management and highly organized.

The candidate must also be able to draft pleadings and discovery (including responses) very well. Lien resolution, medical bill reductions and preparing settlement distribution sheets, identifying unpaid medical providers (paid vs. incurred analysis), vendors and experts with assistance from firm controller is a requirement with prior experience of at least five years.

The candidate will demonstrate initiative in problem solving; have excellent verbal and organizational skills; has the ability to master the rules and filing procedures of the multiple federal and state courts that the firm is involved; be able to multi-task; have extensive computer experience to include working with Word, Excel, Outlook, and e-filing systems, such as PACER. Candidate will be responsible for making all travel arrangements; keeping an accurate court calendar; and maintaining an up-to-date filing log.

Abilities to organize, summarize and account medical records and billing is also a staple of this position.

Candidate must have attended at least one Paralegal orientated CLE in the last two years.

Flexible Tuesday - Thursday in-office workdays are an option.
