- Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming and loading data from various sources into our data warehouses using tools like dbt, airbyte and census
- Experience working with a composable data platform architecture, with a modular approach to a data platform, encompassing a data toolset that includes Apache Airflow & AWS Redshift and pillars for observability, identity resolution and an API activation layer.
- Work closely with data analysts and analytic engineers to understand data requirements and implement efficient data solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring optimal data quality and availability for downstream analytics
- Design and optimize data architectures for scalability and performance
- Implement data modelling, database design, data mining and integration
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the data infrastructure
- Adhere to security, compliance and data governance requirements, experience and familiarity with healthcare data and datasets is preferred.
- 3+ years experience as a data engineer or similar role
- Expert knowledge of Python, SQL, and data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt
- Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Strong database design and data modelling skill.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL process
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
