Job description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our plaintiff-side personal injury practice.The ideal candidate has strong case management skills, understands litigation procedures, and thrives in a fast-paced environment handling pre-litigation and/or litigation files.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage deadlines, and strong communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
Manage personal injury case files from intake through settlement or trial
Draft and prepare legal documents (pleadings, discovery, subpoenas)
Maintain case management system and calendar deadlines
Coordinate medical records and billing requests
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and litigation support
E-file pleadings in state and/or federal courts
Monitor statutes of limitations and litigation deadlines
Required Qualifications
2+ years of personal injury experience
Strong knowledge of pre-litigation and/or litigation procedures
Experience drafting legal correspondence and court filings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and deadline management
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
