    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing and enhancing web applications that facilitate EDI connections and ensuring seamless data exchange between our client's and their trading partners. This role requires a blend of back end development skills along with a deep understanding of EDI standards and protocols.

    JOB DUTIES

    · Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust web applications using JavaScript and related frameworks.

    · Design, implement, and manage EDI transactions and systems, ensuring accurate data exchange with business partners.

    · Collaborate with project managers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and provide EDI solutions.

    · Monitor EDI systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

    · Assist in mapping and converting data between different formats (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV) and standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT).

    · Ensure data integrity and compliance with EDI standards and protocols throughout all data transactions and workflows.

    · Collaborate with other developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

    · Develop and maintain documentation related to EDI standards, systems, and procedures.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in EDI and web development.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in web development using JavaScript and related frameworks.
    • 2+ years of experience working with EDI systems and data mapping.
    • Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    · Proficiency in JavaScript and runtime.

    · Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, , RESTful APIs).

    · Understanding of EDI standards, transactions, and data mapping.

    · Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).

    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
