Job summary
The Junior Accountant will support the US Finance Department by managing daily financial data entry, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.Responsibilities
- Payment Processing & Banking: Initiate payments via bank portal uploads and prepare checks for approval. Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts to monitor cash flow.
- Full-Cycle AP & ERP Management: Verify vendor invoices against LPOs (Local Purchase Orders) and delivery receipts. Prepare and post payment vouchers and Journal Vouchers (JVs) in the ERP according to company SOP.
- Inter-Branch & Inventory Reconciliation: Perform regular inter-branch reconciliations. Audit daily point-of-sale (POS) reports against physical receipts and flag variances in high-value inventory transfers.
