- Responsibilities include admissions (normally up to 8-14 per night, split between the physician and APP), distributing patients and responding to rapids/codes. Work with 1 NP who will be cross covering and assisting with admissions.
- Lower cost of living of Columbia, MO.
- Provides evidenced based medical care to those patients of participating program physicians.
- Responds to emergencies of all patients and responds as part of the Rapid Response Team.
- Participates in medical staff quality improvement and review activities.
- Complies with all medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
