    Primary Purpose

    The Workday Security & Compliance Lead will manage, monitor, and provide oversight for Bright Horizon's Workday Security. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and assignments for Workday's security. The Workday Security & Compliance Lead will work closely with all Workday workstreams, release management and testing teams to ensure integrity is maintained in the Workday security processes. This role will be the Lead contact for Audit, IT Compliance, InfoSec Legal, and Privacy teams to establish Workday data sharing standards and best practice for internal and external audits.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities

    • Maintain Workday security and data privacy control environments.
    • Regularly review the Bright Horizons Security policies and procedures to ensure Workday security controls are aligned with the organizational policies.
    • Responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining proper SOX and/or internal controls.
    • Conduct internal security audits and participate in SOX and/or internal audits, verify proper security protocols are being followed across impacted workstreams.
    • Provides support for security changes where needed.
    • Manages scope and prioritization of work assignments, paying strong attention to detail and deadlines.
    • Monitors change requests to ensure best practices are being utilized. Ensures team responds to and addresses reported problems pertaining to the service performance and reliability.
    • Represent HRIS as related to Workday security support in partnership with business support resources.
    • Act as owner of all assigned Workday security deliverables.
    • Participates as a member of the team involved in planning, resource allocation, projects, policies, and systems that impact the business.
    • Provide expert level knowledge of Workday Security framework.
    • Understand security and data privacy standards.
    • Reviews release notes and works with Workstream team resources and Release Management team to assess impacts and coordinate security testing.
    • Log / maintain tickets in incident tracking system as appropriate.
    • Partner with the senior members of HRIS/HR Operations and Stakeholders to understand the go-forward Workday Security vision and roadmap and communicating to day-to-day partners (Audit, IT Governance, etc. when necessary)
    • Ensure project solutions connect across modules and aligns with the overall Data Sharing Strategy
    • Partner with the Workforce/Time and Attendance system administrators to ensure that security, reporting, and system updates align with Audit/IT Compliance, Legal requirements
    • Provides guidance, training and coaching all members of the HRIS team

    Job Requirements - Education/Experience

    Education

    Required - Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred - Master's Degree

    Experience

    Required - 5 experience and knowledge in the HRIS field including a background/education in both technology and human resources. In lieu of degree, additional 2 years of HRIS Workday experience.

    Additional Job Requirements

    • *Broad knowledge/experience with multiple SaaS HR technology platforms and tools. *Experience working with internal and external audit teams along with various Compliance, Info Sec and Privacy teams. *Experience with automated tools to create and run scripts to assist with audit/IT Compliance requests. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management. *Highly analytical with a natural curiosity about data and the ability to consume and process large amounts of information. *Outstanding Excel skills and working knowledge Visio or other process flow tools.

    This role can be in person to our beautiful Newton, Mass headquarters or hybrid or remote. The pay range is $130-140K yearly and comes with all Bright Horizons benefits like health, dental, vision and optional benefits like pet insurance
