Hours of OperationMonday: 7:45am-5:00pm
Tuesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
Wednesday: 7:45am-5:00pm
Thursday: 11:00am-7:00pm
Friday: 7:45am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need.
Skills Required to Make a Great "Impression" on Our Team
Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Qualifications:
So How Can You "Fill" This Role?
Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
CPR Certification required
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient.
