    Responsibilities

    • Provide support with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related request and other acquisition related audit work as assigned to the Program Audits Information Division.
    • Provide support with External and Internal Audits and related information requests and other related work as assigned
    • Assist the Government with Congressional, OIG and higher headquarters taskings.
    • Assist the Government with preparing SES and high headquarters level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support PEO recommendations.
    • Develop and manage project plans, track tasks and schedules
    • Assist the Government project manager in establishing team priorities.
    • Support development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio reviews.
    • Assist with planning and preparing responses to FOIA requests including providing reviews and explanations of redaction recommendations responses to FOIA requests.
    • Review prepared responses to FOIA requests for accuracy and responsiveness to initial requests
    • Maintain a FOIA sharepoint site
    • Interface with senior levels of management.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 3-10 years' experience in Business Management; however either an Associates Degree and an additional 4 years' experience or an additional 6 years' experience without a degree may be substituted for a Bachelor's.
    • Experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Freedom of Information Act, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Manual (HSAM) and other regulatory and policy supplements.
    • Ability to plan and organize work
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to be a detailed-oriented, self-starter that is experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical/business professionals.
    • Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.
    • Experience presenting to senior levels of management.
    • Ability to prepare summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and manuals/reference materials for benchmarking purposes or for inclusion in required and ad hoc reports.
    • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation (BI) preferred.
