    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Kentucky, requiring a valid KY or compact state license.

    Responsibilities
    Inpatient physical therapy unit within an acute care hospital setting
    Both inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) caseload
    Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with flexible scheduling for 8-hour or 9-hour days
    Weekly hours follow a 36/48 rotation — 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
    Orientation is held on a bi-weekly schedule
    Candidates must be available to confirm assignment within 24 hours of accepting an offer
    Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

    Requirements
    Minimum 2 years of PT experience in an acute care setting, including both inpatient and outpatient
    Active Kentucky or compact state PT license required (if applicable)
    BLS certification required (AHA only; front and back of card required if not electronic)
    Valid driver's license required for consideration
    2 professional references required for consideration
    Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
