- Follow recipes by Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef.
- Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes strictly.
- Handle food items following Department of Health guidelines.
- Set up station with proper par levels.
- Sanitize station, knives, and cutting boards.
- Rotate stock, label and date products following FIFO and Company standards.
- Organize and clean walk-ins.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Process orders from the POS system promptly.
- Communicate product needs to Chef team.
- Report equipment issues to management.
- Complete Jolt checklists.
- Label and date products correctly.
- Notify Executive Chef and Sous Chef of any unavailable items immediately.
- Focus on safety and adhere to safety standards.
- Have thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, and their preparation.
- Set up and break down workstation appropriately.
- Complete required logs and checklists.
- Stay updated on the industry through education and training.
- Maintain professional appearance as per employee handbook.
- Can demonstrate consultative skills and work cross-functionally.
- Shows strong problem-solving abilities.
- Prior line cook or saute cook experience is preferred.
- Move throughout the business for extended periods.
- Maintain hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varied environments.
