    We are hiring an electrical controls engineer. This position will be located out of our Duluth, GA office.

    What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be...

    Create PLC and HMI equipment operating programs for AdEdge equipment using RSLogix 500, Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View Studio software programs
    Modify for improvement existing AdEdge PLC and HMI operating programs
    Produce electrical wiring diagrams, panel layout drawings, and Manufacturing BOMs for AdEdge equipment
    Assist with overseeing the efficient shop assembly of both automatic and manual operated control panels.
    Conduct quality control inspections of both in-house and sub-contractor produced control panels
    Keep all electrical engineering drawing and data files current and complete

    Provide technical direction, serves as a point of contact or business liaison, prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to the program/project.

    Designs and tests electronic products
    Writes manufacture and test procedures and reports. Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products
    Provides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals
    Participate with on-site equipment start-up activities as required and coordinate SCADA integration
    Rectify field problems as well as problems found at start- up including electronics troubleshooting

    Your Education Should Be...

    B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or A.S. in Engineering Technology plus 4 years working experience in the electrical engineering field.

    Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

    Your Professional Experience Should Be...

    5+ years of relevant project management / engineering experience with direct water treatment systems and technology and process experience a plus
    Excellent personal communication skills for interfacing with customers
    Electrical controls and instrumentation competency, PLC knowledge
    Ladder Logic
    Professional certifications or Professional Engineering license, preferred
    International project experience, preferred
    Structured Text
    Experience in the field with startup of water or wastewater treatment systems
    AutoCAD Electrical & Process Design experience
    Team building and training expertise
    Scheduling, estimating, and procurement experience with >$ 1MM projects
