    Description

    InMotion US is seeking a Manufacturing Technician. This role is a mid-level position and maintains mechanical, optical, and electrical equipment. The position applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to assemble and evaluate product performance using a variety of specialized equipment, schematics & blueprints, and work instructions.

    Essential Functions:

    · Assemble, install, align, operate, and maintain increasing complex instruments, and adjust production equipment for optimal performance while interpreting mechanical assembly drawings, written and verbal instructions.

    · Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronic-mechanical units, applying knowledge of electronic-mechanical theory and components.

    · Assess and evaluate instruments or assemblies to determine condition by utilizing appropriate test procedures, test equipment, and processes.

    · Set up test equipment, download software, conduct reliability and performance tests, and adjustments required to meet organizational standards; Verify data for the intended use, verify data accuracy, and perform multi-discipline calibrations.

    · Resolve problems or failures with equipment, devices, or products; Report problems or concerns with processes, equipment, materials, and labor to Manufacturing Engineer or Manufacturing Supervisor.

    · Inspect work for quality and meet company quality requirements as defined in the quality manual and work instructions; Identify continuous improvement opportunities within designated work area; Report quality issues immediately.

    · Follow company safety regulations and company policies as designated by the Quality System.

    · Perform preventative maintenance on tools and test equipment; May disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of standard test equipment, as necessary.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Experience

    · Minimum: 2-year associate degree or 2 year Vocational & Trade School Program in the following areas (Electronics/Instrumentation or Electrical/Mechanical); Military service in the electronics maintenance fields.

    · 3-5 years of maintaining manufacturing equipment of electro-mechanical assemblies and/or calibration activities.
