The Manager, Warehouse will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost through meaningful engagements with warehouse associates,best in-class service to customers,

and profitable operations.
The role oversees and develops warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching training on policy procedures assisting in problem resolution when required leading by example.
Create a cohesive organization keeping lines of communication open directing workforce ensuring efficient workflow Direct supervise the work productivity of associates within the warehouse department Drive associate engagement retention create culture embodying US Foods values Participate building high-performing teams interviewing hiring personnel in conjunction Sr Warehouse Managers review performance coach productivity safety targets deliver disciplinary action Lead direct associates achieve accurate orders staged loaded trucks Oversee preparation warehouse shipping receiving next shift Monitor operational information mis-picks reports ensure entire meets rates follows preferred methods Take action coaching counseling correct behaviors On day shift designate dock locations inbound carriers Ensure product stocked appropriate location food safety FIFO processes procedures Maintain physical condition safety warehouse equipment preparing work orders repairs requisitions equipment Work operations management team identify sources inventory shrink assist development action plan Analyze current make recommendations expense control Regularly inspect facility safety hazards resolve report Safety manager maintain physical condition warehouse equipment Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule MSS FSQA requirements followed Effectively schedule working shifts leveraging planning tools i.e. Microsoft Excel Other duties assigned manager Supervision Direct Union non-union on-floor Loaders Selectors Receivers Forklift drivers RELATIONSHIPS Internal Warehouse leaders coworkers Internal customers departments e.g. Sales External N/A WORK ENVIRONMENT The work takes place normal environments cooler freezer areas temperatures low as degrees Minimum Qualifications Related ExperienceRequirements Minimum three years experience distribution required Minimum year overseeing workforce required KnowledgeSkillsAbilities Broad knowledge warehousing methods procedures Strong leadership communication people development skills Familiarity inventory control OSHA HACCP regulatory requirements Ability interpret financial operational data Basic computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office Travel Ten percent travel typically mandatory meetings training EducationTraining High school diploma GED required college degree preferred LicensesCertifications Preferred Qualifications HACCP certification PCQI certification This role receive annual incentive plan bonus Benefits include health insurance pre-tax spending accounts retirement benefits paid time off short-term long-term disability employee stock purchase plan life insurance To review available benefits please click here Physical Qualifications Must perform following activities described length time OCCASIONALLY 1% - FREQUENTLY:34% - CONTINUOUSLY:67% - JOB REQUIRES WORKER TO:
