    Description

    Position Overview:
    Join OHSU Knight Cardiovascular Institute and be at the forefront of vascular research, shaping the future of cardiovascular care. OHSU Knight Cardiovascular Institute is adding a physician-scientist leader to their incredible team. The OHSU Knight Cardiovascular Institute integrates research, education and patient care related to cardiovascular disease throughout a person's lifetime.

    KCVI strives to advance care for patients at all life stages; fueled by cutting-edge research and training of the cardiovascular specialists of tomorrow.


    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead dynamic collaborations among scientists and clinicians focused on vascular function and disease.
    • Provide mentorship to junior faculty, fellows and residents, develop trainees and junior scientists
    • Drive the development of state-of-the-art infrastructure and resources in partnership with other innovative groups within KCVI
    • Establish and oversee an independent vascular biology research program, focusing on research & leadership while maintaining a clinical role.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of excellence in vascular biology research, demonstrated by national funding, scholarly achievements, and impactful publications
    • Strong commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and service, with a history of fostering the growth of fellow researchers
