We are looking for a Spacecraft Assembly, Integration &Test Engineer

Pay:
$105,000 - $156,000 DOE

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: *

Leads engineering efforts in planning and execution of projects requiring mechanical system development, focused on the assembly, integration and testing of spacecraft and/or complex space and launch systems

Leads test planning and execution activities, data collection and reduction, data analysis, and product development on a multi-discipline team to provide total integrated support to multiple programs

Develops and implements detailed assembly and test procedures, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards as required

Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates technical risks and issues throughout the AI&T process.

Provides mentorship and development oversight of junior engineers

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *

B.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Typically possesses 6+ years aerospace experience, with 3+ years of experience building, integrating, and testing complex spacecraft or multi-disciplinary space & launch systems

Strong understanding of spacecraft systems and experience working in cleanroom conditions

Self-motivated, able to multi-task, work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction, quality-oriented and safety conscious

Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute projects

Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
