    Job Title: IT Support Specialist

    Department: IT

    Classification: Non-Exempt

    Location: Los Angles

    Summary/Objective: Under the direction of the IT Manager, takes complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations of IT daily job and bank user support. Must prepare to work on flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

    Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    1. Direct responsibility for supervising, evaluating and training computer operations staff in performing duties including off-hour coverage.
    2. Create and maintain current and detail procedures sufficiently to guide the operation of data center.
    3. Carry out system upgrades and implementation of new or revised application software. Assist end users to learn and use new applications
    4. Helping end-user to accomplish daily operation job. Coordinates the activities of other operational staff to ensure system jobs are completed in a timely manner.
    5. Assume responsibilities of maintaining up-to-date systems and applications manuals, EDP contracts and documents etc.
    6. Direct responsibility for the maintenance of PC workstations.
    7. Direct responsibility for maintaining the appropriate level and quantity of forms and supplies needed to produce reports and products.
    8. Interfaces with various department supervisors and managers regarding requests for specific functions, reports and products.
    9. Interfaces with vendors, Head Office support, internal operations and technical staff to resolve problems, meet department needs and improve the overall quality of the system.
    10. Assumes responsibility for general office administration, and keeping and maintaining fixed assets record within EDP Department.

    Competencies:

    1. Knowledge of Windows PC and Server operation with commend line and power shell
    2. Knowledge of network concept and hardware
    3. Knowledge of general system banking applications

    Physical Demands:

    This is primarily a sedentary role, requiring use of standard office equipment such as a computer. Most work takes place in an office environment. The work involves, walking around the office and talking to employees and supervisors.

    Required Education and Experience:

    1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related to software development. Master degree preferred.
    2. Prior working experience in Mobile App Development is a plus
    3. Prior 2-3 working experience in Bank or in Banking system is a plus

    Language/Communication Skills:

    Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
