This position will provide personal financial services at assigned military installations.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
Participates in regular individual group supervision sharing information regarding trends issues on all installations where he she is assigned this counselor may be required Possess skills effectively utilize virtual counselling other electronic modes communication such as web based secure online chat video-based communications secure video teleconference sponsored by customer Virtual PFC support only authorized OSD FINRED Program office Manages duty warn situations according Department Defense protocol Communicates leadership participates regular individual group supervision sharing information reporting trends issues on all installations where he she is assigned this counselor Participates regular inservice training quality improvement committees contract activities as appropriate All duties assigned The job duties listed above representative not intended be all-inclusive what expected employee assigned this job A leader assign additional other duties align intent job without revision description Responsibilities Other Job Requirements Bachelor degree required May consider applicants associate degree plus years experience lieu bachelor degree May consider applicants high school diploma plus years experience lieu bachelor degree Years financial counselling experience Must U S citizen speak fluent English If required must bilingual English Spanish Be able obtain favourably adjudicated Tier investigation Must pass Congressionally Mandated Disclosures Organisational Conflicts Interest process Must have one following certifications Accredited Financial Counsellor AFC Certified Financial Planner CFP Chartered Financial Consultant ChFC
