    Description:
    Position Summary


    The candidate will conduct research activities in the field of tissue regeneration under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr.

    Seung Chung.

    The lab has a long-standing interest in the process of nerve regeneration and hard tissue mineralization using stem cell engineering.

    The post-doc will focus on research and scientific techniques within the fields of stem cell engineering and tissue regeneration using experimental animal models as well as isolated and cultured cells.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Collaborate with Principal Investigator, other lab researchers to design research objectives.

    Experience in the field of stem cell engineering and tissue regeneration Experience with cell culture techniques and animal models Testing, optimizing, and implementing both new and existing methods/techniques.

    Generating data, compiling figures and drafting documents for peer-reviewed manuscripts Able to supervise and train others in specialized tasks. Present research findings at national/scientific conferences Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum Qualifications


    • PhD in Life Sciences and related area
    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
    • Proficient in lab research techniques.
