- Directly assist children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Conduct intake and assessment for accurate treatment and billing information.
- Create and execute treatment plans that encourage healthy attachment and various essential skills.
- Collaborate with team members like educators and physicians.
- Offer telephone counseling during and after office hours for emergencies.
- Participate in staff meetings and supervision sessions as needed.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
- Must hold a relevant clinical license.
- Encouraged to have Board Certification (e.g., Art, Music, Dance).
- Minimum of two years of counseling experience.
- Minimum of three years of mental health experience.
- Capable of working in various settings.
- Experience in treating individuals with emotional disorders.
- Proficiency in using DSM.
- Ability to make solid clinical decisions and provide complex directions.
- Skilled in report writing and correspondence.
- Understanding of child development and family dynamics.
- Child abuse treatment experience.
- Proficiency in expressive/art therapy or play therapy.
- Marriage and family counseling experience.
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Good computer and smartphone application skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Awareness and respect for cultural diversity.
- Ability to interpret assessments and manuals.
- Pass a background check and comply with confidentiality laws.
- Must be reliable, organized, and proactive.
- Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player.
