    Description

    FULL-TIME $1,500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS

    Essential Functions
    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment.
    • Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
    • Prepares and maintains records and reports.
    • May act as lead person in supervisors absence
    Competencies

    • Proficiency in both light diesel and gas truck engines.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Software
    • Knowledge of Fleet diagnostics
    Work Environment

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes orairborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
    • The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
    • Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
    Physical Demands

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk andhear.
    • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling,stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
    • The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full time or part time employment depending on position available. Days and hours will vary. Some overtime as needed.

    Required Education and Experience 5 years diesel mechanic experience

    Additional Eligibility Requirements

    • Current & valid state drivers license
    • Must pass company provided PCP physical capacity profile exam (post offer, pre-employment) & Drug Screen
    • Meet company policy MVR criteria
    • Must successfully complete company sponsored EVOC
