- Provide nursing care to patients in the preoperative and postanesthesia care unit settings.
- Assess patient's condition before and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage postoperative pain.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and fort.
- Educate patients and their families about postoperative care and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outes.
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a
PACU RN. - BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work 40hour days with variable start times (4 10hour shifts or 5 8hour shifts).
