    Civil Design Engineer Career Opportunity

    We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial land development projects, utilizing your expertise in site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion/sedimentation control.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design commercial land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion/sedimentation control.
    • Perform calculations and detailed analysis for all aspects of site design.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams from schematic design to construction administration.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Passed the FE exam.
    • 3+ years of experience in commercial land development, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
    • Proficiency in Civil 3D.
    • Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management practices.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • EIT or PE certification.
    • Experience with commercial projects, particularly large-scale developments (e.g., warehouses, big-box retail).

    Additional Details:

    • Hours: Day Shift

    • Overtime: 5-10 hours/week expected
