Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastro Team in Temple Texas.
Responsibilities
- Assesses physical mental condition of patients by performing comprehensive examinations medical histories prescribes drug therapies performs indicated procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policies evaluates patient response health care provided effectiveness of care counsels patients families regarding medical processes management health illness/condition medication nutrition health promotion initiates timely consultation referral when problem exceeds scope practice expertise manages patients healthcare setting(s) other than primary clinic setting performs invasive procedures specific to scope practice competency provider as delegated supervising Physician may perform patient care duties beyond regular schedule based on coverage needs department.
