Job summary
This is a casual night shift position located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest.The PBX Operator answers calls and routine inquiries routing to intended destination appropriately responds to and documents emergency situations per policy and guidelines acts as part of a team including training new employees pages physicians security or employees as appropriate via radio pagers computer or over-head PA system follows all documentation procedures completes additional task such as sorting and mailing messages during downtime delivering messages to physician offices and completing distributing daily sheets.
- Strong customer service skills computer skills ability to work in fast pace environment using repetitive hand motion with the ability to multi-task.
