    Description

    Join Our Team as an Early Career Civil Engineer

    WSP is excited to be looking for a new team member to join us as an Early Career Civil Engineer in our Northwest & Pacific District. You could be based in one of these offices: Redmond WA, Seattle WA, Tacoma WA, Bend, OR, or Portland OR. This role will see you working on projects with our Earth & Environment Team, contributing to our client's success by meeting their goals and overcoming challenges.

    Your Impact

    • Assist with collecting and analyzing data for project development, design, and construction.
    • Conduct research and inspections to ensure projects comply with regulations.
    • Provide technical assistance on design requirements, safety strategies, and construction.
    • Oversee construction quality assurance on earthworks projects.
    • Document project details accurately and concisely.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and follow site-specific procedures.
    • Complete necessary training and act ethically in all aspects of the role.
    • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Have 0 to 1 years of relevant experience.
    • Possess excellent research skills and an analytical mindset.
    • Understand design/build processes and concepts.
    • Familiar with civil construction laws, codes, and compliance practices.
    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Demonstrate self-leadership and attention to detail.
    • Work well independently and in a team.
    • Have basic proficiency in technical writing and office software.
    • Proven commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
    • Be willing to adjust schedules for project needs and occasional travel.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Hold an Engineer in Training Certification.
    • Experience with design software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS.
    • Previous internship in a relevant engineering discipline.
    • Active participation in professional practice organizations.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    WSP offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement savings. We are dedicated to providing health and financial security for our employees throughout their careers.

    Expected Salary: $66,600 - $83,300

    WSP USA provides the compensation range in good faith and might offer more based on candidate qualifications, internal factors, and location. We reserve the right to adjust the salary and benefits offered.
