Job Summary
To provide nutrition education to WIC eligible participants and assess their nutritional needs for certification eligibility.Conducts group education classes in nutrition; demonstrate food preparation, meal planning and food shopping procedures.
Maintains daily counts of all appointments. Completes monthly reports.
Counsel patients and families for health promotion and therapeutic diets.
Takes accurate weights and measurements of clients for HPA certification.
