    Description

    Beyond TalentEdge has an exciting opportunity: Assistant Supervisor- Residential Position in Corning, NY area.

    Full time position – 40 hours' week. Evenings & weekends.

    We are seeking individuals who are dedicated, compassionate, and ready to take on the challenge of helping youth thrive.

    Responsibilities:

    · Effectively Communicate, and support the mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies in daily operations.

    · Set clear, meaningful, and attainable objectives that are aligned with the organizational goals.

    · Delegate tasks according to team members' strengths and interests.

    · Ensure staff have the skills and resources to be successful.

    · Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills.

    · Maintain fairness and consistently in staff treatment.

    · Share accountability when delegating and involve staff in setting performance goals.

    · Oversee employee and client schedules to ensure efficient organization and communication.

    · Handle emergency situations with flexibility of both time and assignment.

    Requirements:

    · Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of human service-or related direct care experience in a residential setting; OR

    · Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2.5 years of experience; OR

    · High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience solid work experience in similar field or relatable to working with youth.

    · Example- Human Services fields- Residential treatment centers, OCFS Facilities is very helpful, security guard experience welcome.)

    · Valid NYS Driver's License required.

    · Must meet agency driving and insurance standards.

    · Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
