    Job Summary
    Designs, develops, writes and maintains textual and graphic web page content and electronic news distributions for the Harrison College of Pharmacy.

    Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
    • Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
    • Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
    • Assistance with special projects
    • Seasonal work
    • Emergencies

    AU students are not eligible for TES.

    Essential Functions
    • Write, edit, and develop news and feature stories that tell the college's story to both internal and external audiences.
    • Plan, develop, and execute captivating digital content that highlight various aspects of the college.
    • Create a variety of printed material for the college, from postcards to multi-page publications.
    • Create a variety of digital material for use on the web, social media, and other mediums.


    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.


    Expectations:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of software
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software


    Desired Qualifications
    • Experience in storytelling through various mediums
    • Experience creating marketing material and advertising programs and events.
