Job Summary
The Electrification Lab Test Engineer supports client and OEM electrification programs by operating laboratory equipment executing test procedures and performing in-depth data analysis.This role works closely with cross-functional teams including power electronics electronic design software and mechanical design to define interpret testing requirements aligned with product specifications.
With guidance from senior engineers the engineer conducts electric motor and inverter characterization product verification testing validation activities according to clients standards Results are documented through clear accurate technical reports that support design decisions product verification All activities are performed under direct hands-on supervision ensuring safety quality delivery cost objectives Success this role requires strong technical judgment collaboration attention detail effective troubleshooting skills
- Gather Organize Test Requirements Gather review structure test requirements internal external customers Provide feedback ensure complete testable.
- Support PV&V Testing Power Electronics Participate product verification validation testing electric motors inverters converters related systems both household external facilities.
- Maintain Documentation Ensure plans procedures results schedules accurate current clearly communicated Troubleshooting Debugging structured methods identify root causes peers resolve issues safely efficiently Customer Collaboration Build working relationships internal external customers project alignment execution Testing Alignment Coordinate project teams ensure aligns product requirements intent standards Domestic travel once twice year customer collaboration international required Education Bachelor degree Electrical Engineering Agricultural Engineering Industrial Engineering equivalent accredited program Required Skills Experience Basic understanding embedded controllers Knowledge safe high-voltage practices Understanding motor control principles system-level testing Basic knowledge design validation processes Strong written verbal communication skills English Strong organization multitasking skills Customer service orientation Experience product environments Hands experience oscilloscopes multimeters power analyzers Knowledge microcontroller peripherals PWM bootloaders ADCs serial parallel interfaces Familiarity CAN Ethernet RS-232/485 networks Top Skills Experience three-phase power high-voltage systems Understanding motor control software Strong testing validation experience #INDOEM}
